Philippe Lassarat creates the general painting company in Le Havre, to which he grants his own name. The company specializes in painting application in large industrial complexes. Sites are built in several activity sectors: building construction, marine, oil and automobile industries, power plants and art works.

A relevant step has been given through the creation of the first blasting and painting shop in Blanc Misseron; nine similar facilities were created in France; the present mesh that characterizes Lassarat spreads throughout the French territory. At the same time, the company ventures and develops its activities abroad, mainly in Africa. The company initiates a diversification process with the use of cutting-edge technology with special coatings, fire-proof coatings, offshore activities and turnkey projects.

The acquisition of the first service vessel allowed the company the development of the oil rigs maintenance activities offshore. Two other ships were acquired in 1990 and 1993 to respond to the fast growth of this activity abroad.

Company gets the quality seal: it obtains ISSO 9002 certification and CAS 1 qualification. Ever since its teams relentlessly pursue certifications for more quality, safety and security as well as thorough respect towards the environment (check QHSE tab).

Lassarat’s presence in the market gets reinforced by its progressively growing network of skills and human, materials and technological resources. Its eleven branches spread throughout France and also abroad, ensure desired proximity with the clients.

Over 60 years after its creation, Lassarat is, today, beyond a name or a market reference: it is the history of men and women fully engaged with a group that became international, leader in the domains of innovation and constant search for perennial solutions for its clients.
